Dell Inspiron 1720, Connecting to internet

I have a home network consisting of 3 laptops and 1 desktop. The laptops are connecting to the internet through a wireless router. The only one that will not connect is the dell 1720. It did before, but will not at this time. Did a setting change by accident? Is there somrthing I can do to fix this? Please help.

Did you ever figure it out?  I am having the same problem with my 1525.  It worked fine yesterday morning and then last night it would not connect.  I didn't do anything to it besides charge the battery.  I have no idea how to fix it but am looking through this site to find an answer.  Please let me know if you found a way to correct it.  My e-mail is :Email removed per privacy policy>

Thanks....

I also have a 1525 that can't access the internet via a lynksis router. When I use lynksis adviser, it detects that my "radio switch" is off yet my laptop states that it is enabled. When I slide the switch (rt side of computer as you look at the screen), there is no light indication just as there is not an indication of the wifi light on the bottom left of the laptop. Sorry that I cannot help as of yet, but I will post as soon as I can and hoping you will as well. Best Wishes

I actually called my DSL carrier and they went in on my desktop and changed some of my router settings so I am back on line on my laptop....you might want to give that a try.  I did try the button and I tried to restore the computer to a date that I knew it worked and neither one of those worked.  I don't know about you but this is like the 4th-5th time it has happened....not real impressed with it.
