S2409W Power Save issues REV A02

I'll start this post off by saying that i did not purchase this directly from Dell (bought from Bestbuy).

About 2 days after I got the monitor I go to turn it on and as the subject says Power Save, I have read about 80 threads about this issue and have tried all the suggestions.

System Info:

Motherboard: Asus P5Q-E Rev 1.0 BIOS 1003

CPU:Intel Q6600@3.4Ghz (yes i have tried at stock settings)

Ram:8GB Corsair XMS2 DDR2 800

GPUS: 2 Sapphire 4870's 1GB in xfire (yes i have updated the BIOS swapped card positions, removed one of the cards ie: only 1 gpu in the system)

PSU: Corsair TX750

OS:Vista Ultimate 64bit with SP1 and 2

Original Monitor: Samsung 21" not sure of the model

I have tried VGA cables, Dual and single link DVI cables and HDMI, updated ALL my drivers to the newest version relevant to the date of this post, and have even reinstalled vista (not of my own choosing I hard reset my machine so many times my Raid 0 array failed).

Now this problem is random sometimes the system boots into windows fine other times right before windows finishes loading the monitor will go into power save which leads me to believe that this is a driver issue but even using ati tray tools to reload the display driver doesn't work.

I've gone back to Bestbuy to return the monitor and after begging them to check the REV number on all the monitors in stock they said all they have is REV A02 so if this issue is present in REV A02 a simple return won't help which leads me to ask is there another REV of this monitor without this issue.

Another than this annoying issue the monitor feels well built and works as expected.
