Can I connect 3 monitors?
Hi,
I have a Dell Studio 540 desktop with an Nvidia Geforce GT220 videocard on wich I have 2 monitors connected, I want to connect a third monitor on my onboard VGA, but when I go into the BIOS, I can't find the option, I am using windows 7 ultimate, if that is relevant.
Can I enable onboard VGA and Videocard simultaniously?

Welcome to the forums IVR :emotion-21:
On-board/integrated graphics chips obviously don't offer the ports/connections dedicated graphics cards do, so what you're wanting to do can't be done, without additional hardware - i.e. something like the Matrox Dual-Head 2 Go.
And integrated graphics have to be disabled when using a different source. You can't use them both at the same time.

I recently accidentally got three monitors up on Windows XP. I wanted to see what would happen when I added a PCI graphics card to my AGP system (4600). Amazingly it worked. I added a Jaton 9500GT card and it had one screen. The AGP had the other two. I had different compatibility problems since the AGP was ATI. But you would not have a problem since you would be putting like cards together.
