cant restore to factory
dell 530 dual core insipron desktop tried to reinstall when got a trojan coulnt get rid of delleted d drive reinstalled no d drive tried ctrl f11 dont work, tried safe mode no repair your computer option, dell said for $65.00 they will restore to factory for me is this worth it or just run on 1 drive in vista

i have one laptop dell xps m1330 .i will change my windows vista to windows 7 .but i need to restore the windows vista in factory mode what can i do ? i will tr the Startup recovery but that is not working.

You can try the steps below to restore your system to factory conditions.
The Dell™ Factory Image Restore tool replaces PC Restore. Access it from the F8 boot menu. To enter the boot menu press the F8 key slowly several times after the bios loads.

I suggest you to insert Windows xp or above CDs on your Cd Rom and boot your system by using it, then in first steps of Windows, you can see all deleted partitions and then you can repair it without need to do other thing.
