A question about dell battery meter !
Dell battery meter has a 'Disable charging' option. I wonder what it means !
So when AC adapter is plugged and I check this option, a battery is stopped from charging and it uses an AC power source or a battery is stopped from charging and it uses a battery ?

Hi PDA1564,
Welcome to the Community. Disable Charging, would stop your battery from charging, and will work of your AC adapter. Unless you enable it back will your battery start charging.

So will this protect the battery from damage if you have it plugged into AC all the time?
