Dell OptiPlex GX520 SFF - No Power Indicators

I am working on 2 Dell OptiPlex GX520's SFF that both seem to die at the same time. Out of warranty.

When applying power to the power supply the power button up front never lights up. No indication of power except a small indicator light on the motherboard the lights up when AC is applied to power supply. I have removed every piece of hardware expect I/O, CPU, CPU fan, power supply and applied AC to power supply with the same results. I am thinking that the power supply is bad since the fan on the power supply does not come on and there is no other indication of power. Please let me know if anyone has any other ideas. No other power supply to test with.

Unfortunately, there's only one way to tell and that's by replacing the PSU.

Hi JThomasIII,

Unfortunately, with those SFF systems, you're stuck with buying the replacement PSUs from Dell.

Actually I found another supplier which has quality refurbished products at www.discountelectronics.com/index.php, but the question was do you think it is the power supply that is the issue?
