Dell Dimension 5150 Ethernet Driver
Hello,
Can anyone help me locate an Ethernet Driver for my 5150 Dimension?
Reinstalled XP and have installed all other drivers and for some reason, the Ethernet and SM Bus Drivers are the only ones missing from my Resource CD.
Can anyone please help?

The SMBUS yellow ! means Chipset Drivers have not been installed.

Intel has an online chipset driver installer: www.intel.com/.../detect

Thank you for the suggestions - SMBUS now installed. The only PORBLEM I have left is the Ethernet Controller which is the last Drier I need installed. Cannot find it anywhere, anyone know a link for it please????

You need the Intel (R) PRO/100 VE Network [aka Ethernet] Connection Driver version A018.0.15.0, for XP, use the link I provided, plus Speedstep has already post the same info,.

Thanks Bev, but I have downloaded that Driver already and when I go into Hardware to check everything it still tells me that I have no Driver for the Ethernet Controller?

For all Windows 2008 networks adaptors, use this link....

You also have the option of installing the drivers online, straight from Intel.
http://downloadcenter.intel.com/default.aspx?lang=eng
Click the 'Intel Driver Update' button.

Hi, I am hoping you can help me. I have a Dell Dimension 5150 and have installed Windows Server 2008 and am trying to get drivers for the network adapter! Any ideas please?

You might try looking on Intel's site, as they produced the onboard network hardware.
