How do I Disable Dell Creative Diagnostics in Startup?
I have Dell Creative Diagnostics in Startup and in my Taskbar in the lower right corner.
Do I need it there?
How to Disable it from running each time my computer starts up?
The HELP instructions says:
"If you want to disable Creative Diagnostics Agent, click the Do not run Diagnostics Agent at startup check box to select it when Creative Diagnostics Agent offers to restore the audio settings. When disabled, the utility will not be started at the next Windows startup. Its icon will also be removed from the Windows taskbar."
When the Creative Diagnostics Agent offers to restore the audio settings, IT DOES NOT HAVE a "Do not run Diagnostics Agent at startup check box."
Please reply.

Hello gblaca,
To remove the icon in the taskbar, right click on the icon and select "Exit".
To stop Creative Diagnostic from running at Start Up, navigate to Start, then Programs, then Creative, then Sound Blaster, then Creative Diagnostic Agent, and then click. When the Creative Diagnostic Agent dialog appears UNCHECK the box that says "Run the Diagnostic Agent at Start Up".
As far as your other question about the mixer, all that I have been able to find comes from the Creative Diagnostics dialog. It says, "If any of the tests fail, or if you need any information, please refer to the Getting Started manual". I have a Getting Started manual for the Creative Sound Blaster Live Value....
In your other post you wrote,
There is nothing in my manual about a failure in a "mixer setting check", but I believe that I can surmise that that failure means that the factory default settings have NOT been restored successfully. Try clicking the Sound Blaster restore defaults that you find in the previous location: Start\programs\Creative\Sound Blaster\restore defaults.
