Dell Inspiron n4110 32-bit Network Controller Driver
Hello,
I upgraded from 64-bit windows 7 home premium to 32-bit windows 7 ultimate.
Perusing the driver cd that came with the laptop, along with online, there is no compatible 32-bit network controller driver. Please assist.
Thank you,
-Colin Wilson

Hi Colin,
Welcome to the Community,
Could you confirm which wireless card your system has? This system model has only been tested with 64 Bit operating system and that's why only 64 bit drivers are available on our support website.
However send me the wireless card model on your system and i will see if i can help.
Thank You
Roshan

Because there is no suitable driver, any attempts to find the NIC in device manager or through ipconfig /all are unreliable, on the dell website, the Dell Inspiron 14R (N4110) is listed to have:
Dell Wireless 1502 (802.11b/g/n) Standard
Dell Wireless 1503 (802.11b/g/n) Optional
Intel® Centrino® Wireless-N 1000 (802.11 1x2 b/g/n) Optional
Dell Wireless 1701 (802.11b/g/n + Bluetooth) Optional
Dell Wireless 1702 (802.11b/g/n + Bluetooth) Optional
Intel® Centrino® Wireless-N 1030 (1x2 bgn + Bluetooth) Optional
Intel® Centrino® Advanced-N 6230 (2x2 agn + Bluetooth) Optional
Intel® Centrino® Wireless-N + WiMAX 6150 (1x2 bgn + WiMax) Optional
Hope this helps.

Hi sumeetupp,
Check the wireless connection in Safe mode with networking (restart the computer and tapping F8 on dell logo. Select Safemode with networking). If the wireless connections is still slow in Safe mode with networking, try updating the update the wireless router's firmware to the latest available.
For more information, I have provided a link below which can fix the issue:
Below mentioned link would also help you with the settings for wireless internet:

Kindly let me know the system model so that I can help you better.
Please let me know if you have any other queries.

Hi omega61,
For your system model Inspiron N5110 Dell only provides Windows 7 (64 bit) and Windows 8 compatible drivers. However you may try to download and install the wireless card (Intel(R) Centrino(R) Wireless-N 1030) driver directly from Intel download Center.
Use this link for download : downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx
Note:Download the one for Windows 7 32 bit.
Hope this helps.
Thank You

Hi,
I have the same issue, I have a win 7 32 bit, and my network controller driver is not working. I've downloaded every possible driver on the Dell download/drivers page.

Hi EmmaBlanc,
Welcome to the Community,
May I know your full system model and type of wireless card installed on your system.
Did you get any error message while trying to install the driver from our support website?
Also on your system access Device Manager, expand Network Adapters and post back what is listed? Do you see Other Devices with any items listed under it?
To further check please post back your findings.
Thank You
