please help me about reinstalling software on xps 15
hi. do you know where can i reinstall dell webcam central, dell stage and sensible vision fast access facial recognition for my xps15. i have to reinstall my OS so all my software are deleted. i tried to download from my dell downloads but when i clicked on smart source media manager, the message occurs: cannot download the application, the application is missing required files. contact application vendor for assistance" plz help me.

Dell's have a restore partition (PC Restore), accessed by F8 at power on for Vista/Win 7 systems and that allows restoring to original factory condition and no extra discs or drivers are needed? If you haven't reinstalled with discs yet, that is the preferred reinstall method.
Access the Dell driver downloads, either by your service tag number or by the PC model number to get available driver downloads.

thank you for your advice. but seems i've already installed my windows manually, is it going to be alright if i restore it to the pc factory setting? i'm afraid it will affect the necessary setting of my important hardware n software. can't i just install the mentioned software manually?

Using Internet Explorer, go to My Dell Downloads :: Login Use the same email address and password you used here. Click on add system. Dell Stage, Fast Access and Dell Webcam Central can be found there.

If you have installed manually you will have lost the ability to factory restore, ensure that you have followed everything in my wiki A Clean Install of Windows.
