CanadianGrl81,

Try reading...

Software Updates Causes Wireless Connectivity Issue Or Unable to Connect to Internet

If the article does not help solve the problem, Can you run Finding System Information REMOVE YOUR PRODUCT ID, if using XP, run an ipconfig /all log and post it back here.

Also include the virus program and firewall you're using.

My internet works perfectly fine now, before coming here I looked up on google and I found this .....

try to go to the start , run and type cmd and hit enter.

Then type ipconfig /all and enter

then type ipconfig /flushdns and enter

type again ipconfig /release

type again ipconfig /renew

and I tried it and my internet has been working perfectly fine ever since.

Thanks A Lot for Your Help! :)

Thanks, I will try it once I goes to get off, really don't want to try it now ... don't wanna lose internet on everything, its kinda weird, internet work on PS3 fine, but once I starts my computer up, it goes out everywhere, then I got to restart modem/router 3 or 4 times before I can finally get the internet working. Thanks for the help!

When I run a ipcong /all ... how do I post it all back here? .. I tried that earlier, also I'm using a windows 7, will that work?

Whenever my internet goes out though, all the lights on the modem and router are still lit up like they are suppose to and even sometimes the internet connection bar is showing how its suppose to normally show.

CanadianGrl81,

If you run the Finding System Information there will be a product ID.(preferred) Works for Vista and Windows 7 but not for XP systems.

If you run an ipconfig /all log, there will not be one.

CanadianGrl81,

You have a Belkin router? If yes, try changing the security to no security and see if you can connect.  If you can connect, then try WEP Security. You should be able to connect.

How to login to your wireless router
