Witam. Po zakupie laptopa Dell Inspiron 17R SE 7720, zainstalowałem najnowsze sterowniki ze strony Dell oraz zaktualizowałem BIOS do wersji A03 (7720A03.exe). Na laptopie posiadam system Windows 7 Pro x64 i program do szyfrowania dysków TrueCrypt. Program ten w ustawieniach -> wydajność wykrywał, że mój procesor Intel® Core™ i7-3610QM 2.3GHz obsługuję akcelerację sprzętową AES. Dzisiaj zaktulizowałem BIOS do najnowszej wersji A08 (7720A08.exe). Aktulizacja ta sprawiła, że program Truecrypt pokazuje, że mój procesor nie obsługuje akceleracji sprzętowej AES. PRzez aktualizację BIOS do nowszej wersji wydajność szyfrowania/deszyfrowania spadła z 3GB/s do 614MB/s :/ Chciałem przywrócić BIOS do starej wersji uruchmaiając 7720A03.exe, ale program zgłasza błąd o następującej treści: "ERROR 217 - BIOS layout does not match! Status - 0". Dodam, że na stronie Intela -> http://ark.intel.com/products/64899/Intel-Core-i7-3610QM-Processor-6M-Cache-up-to-3_30-GHz wyraźnie jest napisane, że mój procesor obsługuje sprzętową akcelerację AES.
