Dual Extended Monitors
I have received conflicting information from Dell - can you run dual extended monitors on Optiplex 3010 with the Intel Graphics VGA/HDMI card?
Can you split the VGA output ? Connect VGA to one monitor and HDMI to DVI splitter to conect the other?
Thanks for your help.

Hi MCNaugle,
Optiplex 3010 is shipped with following integrated graphics solution:
The computer would support 2 displays. You may connect one monitor with VGA and may connect another monitor to HDMI. In case you like to split a VGA output, you might need to use a splitter. In case your monitor has a DVI port, you may use HDMI to DVI converter. You may look at the following options: http://bit.ly/13yTAfT and http://amzn.to/16th26
Availability of part and part# may vary depending on your region.
Please reply for further clarifications.

We just replaced my old dell box with an optiplex 3010. On the old box, I have been using dual Dell E207WFP's with an added video card and splitter. Now I have one monitor on the VGA working fine, but the other going from HDMI to VGA monitor - I am just getting the blacks screen with "1: Analog Input Self Test Feature Check" floating around. Is there a setting that I am missing? Everything I have read says it should work, but it won't.
