Inspiron 15 (3521) Wireless driver

I can't find it anywhere & when I searched at "Drivers & Downloads" page, and tried to download the wireless driver there although it was for 64-bit not 32-bit as my laptop but it didn't even continue downloading & told me the file isn't found. Like really, you didn't update the drivers at your own site for even new laptops? Then why don't you (company) just add a drivers CD included with the laptop's contents?

Well I just need help & fix this problem so I can use my laptop's wireless.

Hi Danny-dell,

Thank you for providing the update. I sincerely apologize for the technical troubles you have experienced with your Dell computer

As per your description, Inspiron 15 (3521) was shipped with 2 wireless cards. Since you did not mention the Wireless card model, I have provided wireless card drivers (Windows7 32/64 bit) from the manufacture website for both the cards.

Checks the wireless cards shipped with the computer and install the drivers accordingly.

Do follow the steps below to check which network card you have in the machine:

  1. Right click computer icon on the desktop.
  2. Select Manage.
  3. Select Device Manager from the right pane of the window that opens.
  4. Expand Network adapters from right pane.
  5. This will list the network card installed in the machine.

Thanks for your care, Rajesh R.

Actually, I already looked at the Device Manager before and the only thing that appears with a question mark is "Network Controller" and under Network Adapters everything about network (including Bluetooth) but wireless.

I tried those two drivers you listed the links for but still didn't work.

it seems for me

Network_Driver_2W6N0_WN_WLAN--9.2.0.50_A02.EXE   was the solution

it was nice to find and try almost all of these drivers:

www.driveridentifier.com/.../download.php

shame on dell "support"

I will never ever never suggest 2 buy dell laptop in the future ...

Finding which link marked "Download" actually gets you the driver from that site is a fun little game of Russian Roulette.

Try this instead:

http://ftp.dell.com/Pages/Drivers/inspiron-15-3521.html

Based on the Hardware ID in device manager, the Dell Wireless 1703 should be the one for me. But installing it (WIn 7Pro x64) gets me a blue screen error every time.

Still looking for a fix.

Just bought the Dell Inspiron 3521/Service Tag <ADMIN NOTE: Service tag removed per privacy policy> and the wireless doesn't work (using a different computer to send this).

How do I turn the wireless radio on so that I can connect to Dell Support to confirm that I have the most current driver?

The way we (my boss) could solve the problem:

When we tried to run the 'install.exe' nothing happend...

my boss went to the device manager uninstalled the wifi driver

and he installed by picking up  the folder where the drivwer files were extrracted ( somewhere under the C:\dell folder )

this way everithing has changed we saw the miising wifi icon on the right bottom corner...

and of course rest of the time we cursed on thd whole f.cking dell company

We downloaded and tried at least 6 different wifi drivers.

Not all, but one of them was good for manual installation.

The standard Dell support page updated the drivers for this model shortly after my earlier post.

http://www.dell.com/support/drivers/us/en/rc810346/Product/inspiron-15-3521

The drivers listed here are more up to date than the ones posted by Daffodil. In particular, the 1703/1705 driver worked for me in Win7 x64.
