Dell Inspiron 1545 Ram upgrade

Hi

I have just bought some RAM online : INTEGRAL PC3-12800 DDR3 SODIMM RAM Memory Module - 8 GB

However, i have looked online and it says its not compatible with the Dell inspiron 1545. Does anyone know if itll work or not?

Im terrible with computers. I also have keys missing/not working on my keyboard. is it worth buying a new keyboad online and trying to fit it?

Thanks

Hi adaml87,

Inspiron 1545 supports DDR 2 800 MHz SODIMMs, minimum of 1 GB to maximum of 8 GB RAM. Inspiron 1545 will not support the DDR 3 RAM.
