problem with bluetooth peripheral device
my laptop is dell inspiron 15r se 7520 i can't connect my phone ( sony ericsson xperia neo ) to the laptop and this message says " bluetooth peripheral device not installed please help also one more this do i have to renew my warrnty for the laptop or not thankx

Hi Esoo2013,
Please share the operating system installed. Make sure that the Sony Ericsson Xperia PC Companion software is installed on the system. To install it you may connect the handset to the system using the data cable or through the CD that came along. Then check if you are able to pair the device with the system. Also, please deleted the paired devices from the mobile list under bluetooth settings and then try. Make sure that the bluetooth drivers are correctly installed on the system.
Please share the system's Service Tag and Owner's Name with via private message (click my username and then click Start Conversation) for me to check the warranty information..

i have windows 7 home prem. 64bit
but will it work ? the message is "The drivers for this device are not installed. (Code 28)"

Hi Esoo2013,
This error indicates that the drivers for the Mobile handset are not installed on the system or are not available in Windows Updates for installation. You will need to get the drivers installed for the device to get detected and work. Try connecting any other bluetooth device to the system and check functionality. Also share the system's Service Tag and Owner's Name with via private message (click my username and then click Start Conversation) for me to check the warranty information.
