S2340T, webcam setup

I received a new Dell S2340T monitor today and installed the drivers from the disk, but the touch function did not install. I was able to find the drivers from 3M for the touch but I cannot get a signal for the webcam. In looking at the USB devices in the Device Manager, there are no drivers installed for the webcam. Are there any drivers to install that I cannot find? Any suggestions?

Hi Sal,

Please refer to this video Setup your Dell S2340T touch monitor 

- Ensure that the Dell provided USB cable is used to connect the Monitor to the Computer
- You may also try to  power Off/On the monitor or plug Out/In the USB cable

You may also try to uninstall Displaylink driver and re-install it from the disk again.

I had already looked at the video and there was nothing informative. When running the setup program from the CD-ROM, it was very simplistic. I looked in the Device Manager and saw the Monitor Camera in the UDB devices and looked at the drivers. It stated that the monitor was running properly but there were no drivers installed. I next updated the driver and picked what was on the list for that device which was "USB VIDEO DEVICE" and went with that and it seemed to install properly. Before, I was just getting the color bars and no signal. Now I can get the camera stream properly

A little different than usual. Also, I replaced my SX2210T with this monitor (my touch screen became erratic, other post here) and there was much more software available for that monitor.

I seem to have it running now, but the set up was not too smooth for me.

I really like the Dell monitors. I have them at the office and at home. Certainly I do not mind the troubleshooting, but it did not go smoothly for me and I do not mind if you contact me for more detail.
