If it's the single-slot XPS14 ultrabook, 8G is the limit - you won't get a 16G module to work.

Dont know how much slots is supported.

Since you have been informed that there are two memory connectors on the system and maximum memory capacity is 8GB, it may be a different system model name which you are looking to purchase and not the XPS 14 mentioned in my previous reply or the XPS M1330.  If the system you are enquiring about is the XPS M1330, the memory specifications would be as below:

Memory module connectors: Two SODIMM connectors
Memory module capacities: 512 MB, 1 GB, and 2 GB
Memory type: 667 MHz SoDIMM DDR2
Minimum memory: 1 GB
Maximum memory: 4 GB
