cctk --tpmactivation=activate not working
Trying to activate the TPM with CCTK.exe.
cctk.exe versions tried : 2.2.0 and 2.2.1
system: Dell Latitude E7440
Bios: A03 and A05
OS: WinPE x86, WinPE x64, Windows 8.0 x64
ok, so everything works fine if the TPM is NOT Owned...The problem I have is that we have lots of laptops that have the TPM owned but not active.
Commands I am trying:
cctk --setuppwd=Password1
cctk --tpm=on --valsetuppwd=Password1
Reboot
cctk --tpmactivation=activate --valsetuppwd=Password1
or
cctk --tpmactivation=activate --valsetuppwd Password1
Reboot
cctk --valsetuppwd=Password1 --setuppwd=
As I said all this works fine if the TPM is NOT Owned, and I do not know the password used to take ownership so I can't use a script to un-own the TPM, further if the TPM is un-owned than anything that has been encrypted using the current ownership will no longer be accessible so this is not an option.
Any help with this would be appreciated.
Regards
Rodney
