Welcome to Community.
Latitude e5520 supports SATA 3 and it is compatible.
Samsung 250GB 840 EVO MZ7TE250BW will work fine.

do you mean only 250BW ? not 500 GB or 1TB ? in same samsung EVO

Any 2.5" 7 mm SSD will work.

Does the E5520 support msata ssd in the wwan slot. The device manager sees it but I cannot get the system to install the drivers for a micron m510 128gb msata ssd.

The first model that had mSATA support is the Exx40 -- the E5520 won't support mSATA.

Hi , what about MZ750250BIT it is 2.5'' 6.8mm SSD. does it work fine in same laptop
