Skype audio not working on Dell Venue 8
My Dell Venue 8 has Android 4.3
The audio on all applications I have tried seems fine except for Skype.
Regarding Skype, the audio works only when the headphones are plugged in.
Without the headphones, I cannot hear the Echo Call Testing and it does not seem to hear my voice.
Any suggestions?

Android version 4.4.2
Echo Call Testing does NOT work, but I have talked on Skype to a friend without any problems.

Thank you for the information.
I will try to use Skype without headphones once I have the Android Version 4.4.2
In the meantime, I will use Skype with headphones .

Has anyone tried Google Hangouts to see if it works with/without headphones? I wonder if this issue is limited to Skype.
