BLUE SCREEN OF DEATH problem, please HELP!
My dimension 3000 has the blue screen of death, and i cant get past it. It says:
STOP: 0x0000007E(0xC0000005, 0x58BF78E7, 0xF8BF77EC, 0xF8BF74E8)
[note! my CD/DVD driver didnt function properly before, and i couldnt use it before, i think it was because of an update]
It would go to the windows XP bootup screen when i would just let it go.
It would just go to the Blue screen if i was in my Bios settings or anything else.

STOP: 0x0000007E is corruption based on Malware or Physically bad drive. Given the age of the machine its likely the drive is dead.
You will have to replace the drive and reinstall XP.

What color are the 4 diagnostic LEDs on the rear panel? Not all green, look up codes here, page 33.
