Inspiron 15-7537, Windows 10 upgrade, Video driver problems
After a (somewhat) successful upgrade from Windows 8.1 multiple features not working.
- Video driver for Intel HD Family indicates a code 43 (device manager). Tried looking for an updated driver but was unsuccessful. Cannot adjust the screen resolution in Advanced Display settings. In Display Adapter Properties it indicates that a "Microsoft Basic Display Driver" is installed.
- Brightens Function keys do not work.
- Wireless On/Off Function keys does not work
- No Sleep mode
I have tried uninstalling the video driver in Device Manger and reinstalling. The systems attempts to install a driver then gets an error and reverts back to the Basic windows driver.

It looks like Dell has released Windows 10 versions of the chipset, video and network drivers
The 10.1.1.7, 00 revision of the Chipset driver 10.18.15.4240, A00 Intel HD graphics, version 17.1.1524.1353, A00 of the Centrino Wireless N 7260 Bluetooth, 18.11.0_A00 Centrino Wireless N 7260 wireless driver and the rev 7655Y_WN64_10.1.505.2015_A00.EXE Realtek Ethernet Controller driver.
If you are still having a problem give them a try and see if it helps out.

Update
I managed to delete the Microsoft driver and instal a Dell driver (Video_Driver_D4MXC_WN_9.18.10.3186_X07.EXE) for Windows 8.
It fixed some issues but.... The Intel graphic utilities do not work. Get message "gfxuiex has stopped working". Also, Windows Photo Viewer also crashes but the Viewer app works fine.
The Wireless On/Off function key still not working but brightness keys work.

I have tried to install the video driver you suggested above with no luck. I uninstalled the Windows 8 driver first. Will not attempt other driver updates because, yet. Other devices seem to work OK.
During the install I got the message - "The driver being installed is not valid for this computer. Please obtain the appropriate driver from the computer manufacturer."
Install Log follows:

After being advised by Dell that a clean install might be the best course of action I did so. Fortunately this was not my primary PC so backing up stuff was easy.
The clean install went smoothly (except for requests for a product key which I skipped and the system indicated that Win 10 was activated after install).
After install I noticed 2 devices with problems (no driver). I ran the Dell driver assessment tool and it found 3 drivers to install.
Drivers executed in this sequence:
Chipset_Driver_K5DJD_WN32_11.0.0.1153_A00
Serial-ATA_Driver_P2YH0_WN32_14.5.0.1081_A00
Chipset_Driver_K5DJD_WN32_11.0.0.1153_A00
After I installed the 3 drivers, there was still one bad device reported (Other Devices > PCI Device). After I did a search for the device hardware ID I discovered a similar problem on the Dell Forum. The problem was with the SD driver. The solution was a Realtek Card Reader Driver V10.0.370.102 for Win 10.
All is OK but not perfect but for now good enough. I consider this issue closed.

FASADI,
I have sent you a friend request, please accept it so that I can send a private message to you and get your notebook information. From that I may be able to suggest other drivers, or possibly to reinstall Windows 10.

Hi Terry
When I click on Centrino Wireless N 760 wireless driver link it takes me to Page not found 404 error. Do you know where i can download updated Windows 10 Home drivers that are compatible with my Inspriron 15 - 7537. After upgrading from Windows 8.1 to Windows 10, I do not have any network connection devices available, both WIFI and Ethernet do not work.
thanks
Michael

Hi Terry,
I appreciate if you can assist.
Same issue for me, I have dell 7348 13', after Win10 update the HD5500 works only with basic functionality, no sleep option, so far.
I tried updating the latest driver from Dell, it is being rejected for:
"The driver being installed is not validated for this computer. Please obtain the appropriate driver from the computer manufacturer."
According to Dell that's the right driver.
(7348_Video_Driver_2KV8F_WN32_10.18.15.4240_A00.EXE)
I then downloaded the latest driver from Intel support, to be rejected by a different message:
"This driver doesn't support this operating system"
it says win10 in the intel page.
Any suggestion?
Thanks
