Stylus not working on Windows 10 Dell Venue 8 Pro
Hello
I recently upgraded to Windows 10 on my Dell Venue Pro 8. The stylus has stopped working and I cant seem to get the correct drivers on the page. Can somebody help?

My stylus stopped working as well after the 10 upgrade. Wasn't recognized at all by the tablet.
Not sure why, but simply removing and re-inserting the stylus battery fixed it for me.

My stylus stopped working also. Unfortunately, battery remove and reinsert did not work for me.

Same as the rest, no more stylus after Upgrading to Windows 10. Very frustrating.

Same here :( I mainly wanted my venue 8 pro for not taking which can be flaky.

Still not sure if anyone has got a solution. I notice that in the Device Manager there is no "HID Compliant Pen" listed. Does that have anything to do with it?

I can see a HID Compliant Pen listed in mine. The properties says it is Microsoft dated 2006-06-21 version 10.0.10240.16384. When I try to update, it tells me this is the latest. The stylus remains non-functional. Perhaps someone can provide details of a working driver.

I purchased the Dell Active Stylus for my 13" 2-in-1 (Inspiron 7352). The stylus no longer works now that I have Windows 10 installed. I tried using a Surface Pro Pen and that doesn't seem to work either.
Dell, please fix this! I've only had the pen for a few months and now I can't use it!

I had similar but slightly different scenario. The problem started after I ran Windows 10 Update, but seems to be exclusively with Word application and specifically in the tablet mode. When I tab the screen the onscreen keyboard/stylus should pop up, but nothing happens. If I take it out of tablet mode I get an icon for keyboard on the task bar, but it doesn't seem to function properly.

I have the same exact problem!!
Purchased Inspiron 7348 2-in-1 and the active stylus a couple months back. It was working great on Windows 8.1. After updating to Windows 10, the active stylus no longer works.
DELL, please fix!! This is frustrating!!!

I had the stylus in my bag for a couple of months. I used it sparingly. However, its position in the bag caused the buttons to be pressed all the time, which drained the battery. I replaced the AAAA battery and it worked.
Also, I did find & install an updated video driver. Try those 2 things as it did work for me.

To prevent a battery drain, if I'm not using the stylus for awhile, I reverse the battery's direction in the case--a handy method, I think. :emotion-1:
