M620 Linux bootable ISO Server Update Utility Fibre Channel Firmware NF2F6 not applying

We have a requirement to update the firmware on the M620 blade servers for all components. For those servers that are windows servers, we have used the Windows SUU to update all firmware, and that works fine. We also have some servers that do not yet have an OS, a different team will install the OS on those servers, but I am required to update the firmware beforehand. I therefore created a Linux bootable ISO using the Dell Repository Manager with firmware updates for M620, and there are two problems:

1. The Fibre Channel NF2F6 firmware update says it has applied successfully, but actually it does not apply at all. As a test, I put a windows OS on one such server and then used the windows SUU, which successfully did update the firmware. Is there any way to update the fibre channel firmware successfully from the bootable linux ISO, without needing to use the Windows SUU?

2. One of the updates at the very end, the update seems stuck at "executing SAS-Drive_Firmware_2JRTV_LN_D40T_A00.BIN". This update however is at the very end, 94/97 so by then all the required updates have actually gone on.

Hi,

Are you using the latest version of repository manager to create the bootable linux disk? Will they update properly from the lifecycle controller? Is this happening on multiple blades or just one?

Using version 2.0.0. This happens on all blades. In the lifecycle controller, I do not see the Fibre Channel card listed, and when using the iDRAC single file update method, it is shown as not being compatible with the target device. I am assuming updating the fibre channel firmware cannot be done via lifecycle controller or iDRAC. This is fine for windows servers as we can just run the windows SUU. My worry is for linux and unix OS's.
