Latitude E5510 dim numlock LED
I got a beaten-up Latitude E5510 with a defective screen. It seems to be working fine otherwise but the numlock LED is dimmer than the rest.
I opened it up and noticed that the LEDs on the motherboard are colored bright yellow whereas the numlock one is a darker shade of yellow, differing from the rest.
Any idea what that means? Is it dying? Should I be worried about the motherboard itself?

The blue LEDs fade over time, so by themselves they don't indicate a problem with your computer. I have a Dell Inspiron 1525 and Dell USB keyboard with similar blue LEDs, and on both the num lock LED (which is left on all the time) is only about half as bright as caps lock and scroll lock LEDs.
