Inspiron 7559 - HDD Sata cable missing

Hi all,

Recently got new Inspiron 7559.

It has main SSD in M.2 slot and a 2.5" bay for normal size hard drives.

Now, yesterday when i opened it to put my new Samsung EVO 850 250GB in the bay I noticed that the cable & the tray are missing?  Contacted Dell support but nothing good came out of it.

Can anyone tell me what is the part number or if a Dell representative can ship that to me?

1st pic: how it should look like, pic taken from amazon.

2nd pic: how mine looks like, notice the missing parts bottom right.

Your best bet is to call Dell Spare Parts (1-800-999-3355) and ask for the part number and cost of the bracket and interposer.

Gjole;did you manage to solve this?   I have a similar issue with a new Inspiron 7560.  In my case the caddy is there but the cable is missing.  One of the DELL forum posts says that DELL provides it (and someone else even found it on ebay for half the price) but now [2 weeks later] DELL can't help.  I even know the part number but can't get anyone to sell me one.  I'm UK based.
