USB drives after FW 8.1

After  upgrading Our thin Clients (d10D) to newest FW 8.1 release 29 we are not able to map usb drives. Same result With 8.1 release 27.

We have to Citrix solutions, one XenApp 6.5 and one XenApp 7.7 With same result. The event logs gives me this Message when the usb drive (formatted as FAT)

Can't open \\?\USBSTOR#Disk&Ven_Kingston&Prod_DataTraveler_3.0&Rev_PMAP#0019B9FBC7BEBF20C71A7E64&0#{53f56307-b6bf-11d0-94f2-00a0c91efb8b}. Errorcode: 5@02000017

We are not using the option to map under Z:

We have the same issue with Xenapp 6.5 with T10 clients.   Have had to roll back to 8.0.

Can you verify that you have the following on your WNOS.INI or XEN.INI file:

SessionConfig=All \
 MapDisks=Yes

and

SessionConfig=ICA \
 DiskMapTo=GHI

Where the GHI option assigns letters G: , H: and I: to any drives you plugin to the USB port.

If this does not solve the issue, please include your WNOS.INI or XEN.INI file for review.

Hello and thank you for your help.

We have had SessionConfig=All MapDisks=Yes in a user.ini, but did not have SessionConfig=ICA  DiskMapTo=GHI.   I've tried adding both to wnos.ini but it has not changed the fault.

Here's an updated an simplifies WNOS.INI file from your previous version. I removed unnecessary configuration options and updated some parameters,

Thank you for your help again, but it hasn't fixed the problem.  I noticed that during boot up the terminal says "Invalid Statement : DiskMapTo".

Verify that the DiskMapTo= option is under the SessionConfig=ICA section, and that there are no spaces after the backslash (\).

Hello and thanks again.  You were right about the extra space causing the error in the event log, but even with the space removed, I still can't see the USB drive being passed through to the ICA session.

Have figured this one out.  The new firmware 8.1 and 8.3 both require the fileserver option in the wnos.ini config file to be set with a longer path.  Previously we had it set to fileserver=10.10.10.10 but it now needs to be set to fileserver=10.10.10.10/Location/wyse where Location is the same value that is returned by DHCP option 162.  There isn't anything in the documentation about this change.  The longer path works for version 8.0 and 8.1 and 8.3.

This problem also caused problems for us when trying to upgrade or downgrade firmware.  We had to make us of the wyseftpfbc4tc dns alias as a temporary workaround for our machine to pickup firmware changes and user.ini config files.
