P2715Q, Replacement Issue

It took 3 weeks, but the replacement arrived for one of my 2 P2715Q monitors (the other ships out next week).

A00 was replaced with a 32R1F instead of the A03 (X24K1) they said they were sending. The sticker on the back they put over the original says A02.

Support said the 2nd monitor being sent is also 32R1F.

Are these the correct A03 monitors? Did the part number change recently(USA)?

If you see a sticker over the original, we were told that this means that the monitor was flashed to the latest firmware. As to 32R1F, I do not have it in my list so it must be newer than X24K1. You should test it.

Yea, I think you're right. I've put my computer to sleep a dozen times already and it is waking up perfectly fine. So i think the problem is fixed with whatever firmware is on it.

I'm waiting a few days to send it back just to make sure, but so far it seems to be solved. I'm ordering a 3rd one of these, if I order from Dell do they ship with the latest firmware now? I've been holding off knowing I would have to do this return with the 3rd.

Hi, my new P2715Q mostly works, but about once a week, it will not operate when my MacBookPro comes out of sleep. The laptop thinks there is a second display, but the DELL screen is blank. I am using DisplayPort. How can I tell the firmware version in the P2715Q?

On the back it will say the firmware installed "A02" or something higher. It still happens with 3 of these connected 1/15 times probably at least 1 or more screens won't come out of sleep.

Kind of of just deal with it or do what I did and set sleep mode for 4 hours so I rarely run into the issue. You can always pull out the _power_ plug and connect it this solves the issue every time. Disconnecting the displayport doesn't do anything to pull it out of sleep. Another fix is to put your computer back to sleep and wake it back up the screen will be triggered.
