XPS 9550 unwanted keyboard character repeat

On my XPS 9550, the keyboard often repeats characters unintentionally. Has anyone else having this problem? Frequenrtly, I press a key once, and the key is typed twice. As a fast typist (sometimes I'm able to get another character in *between* the repeated keys!) with quite a bit of typing to do, this is a pretty annoying bug.

For context, here are some reports of the exact same problem happening on other Dell laptops, particularly on the XPS 13.
