E6230 fingerprint reader stopped working in Windows 10
Latitude E6230 fingerprint reader stops working after Windows 10 upgrade. Reader is recognized in Win7 but not in Win10. Reinstall OS several times, same results. Applied Dell security driver P5T4G but same result. Device status: This device cannot start (code 10) Current device power state cannot support this request. USB\VID_0A5C&PID_5801&MI_03

finally got the fingerprint scanner to work on the E6230. on the Driver page, go to the Security section and downloaded the CV driver and CV firmware. Install CV driver first then apply the firmware update. You may need to run ushupgrade with 'run as administrator.' Restart. It worked on two of our E6230, maybe it will work for yours.
