Optiplex 3020

I've recently tried to install a TP link T9E into an Optiplex 3020. The computer functions normally until the drivers for the new wireless card are installed after which it will blue screen over and over. Uninstalling the drivers in safe mode fixed the problem but even the new drivers from TP link's website cause blue screening. Would anyone happen to know a way to get this working? I'll return the card if I can't but I would rather avoid the trouble of getting a refund.
