cd drive passes all tests but computer won't boot from cd drive
cd drive passes all tests but computer won't boot from cd drive. entered bios and specifically tell it to boot from the cd drive. windows 7 install disk will not start up. Win 7 disk works in other computer to boot. why isn't this cd drive reading the disk and starting the win 7 install process?

I see this behavior on systems that have older IDE and SATA Drives that need firmware updates and to be set to region 1 aka they will boot from an XP CD but not from a DVD windows 7or up media.
