international warranty
Hi!
I have a dell inspiron 5558 laptop.
My friend bought it in canada.
i use in hungary this time.
warranty end time: 2017. 11. jan.
Is it valid the guarantee in hungary?

Not until transferred, which requires:
1. That the model is sold by Dell in Hungary and
2. That the system was upgraded at extra cost - or you upgrade it now - to an onsite service plan.
The basic 12-month warranty is return-to-depot and cannot be transferred internationally.

Is there any issue with the machine now?
Write me a private conversation with the service tag and your contact details(Name and Email) for case records and include the original buyer details to verify the ownership. Based on this, we can verify the details and if the system has Next Day Onsite Warranty, then the warranty can be transferred to your country.
