Dell Latitude E6230 HDD (hard drive) replacement
Hello.
I need to replace my old HDD in Latitude E6230.
I found in local store one model of 500 Gb HDD, but I need to be sure if it is compatible with my E6230.
Does Seagate Momentus 5400.6 (ST9500325AS, PN: 9HH134-500) compatible with Dell Latitude E6230?

Finally, I could state that 9mm hard drives are not compatible with Dell Latitude E6230.
I've consulted with Dell's service center and they are confirmed that only 7mm hard drives will work with E6230.
After that I've tried again to install 9mm in my E6230, but failed.
So, be carefull when you get answers here not from official Dell's representatives!!!

Yes, it'll work just fine in that system.

It looks like this model can take either size drive - 7 or 9.5 mm.

Are you sure?
It's 9mm thin, not the 7mm as the original hard drive.

Should I order some new HDD bracket for 9mm hard drive?
The standard rubber bracket for 7mm is not applicable and I can't close case cover...
