Dell XPS 15 9550 Screen FHD

The FHD screen has a bit of a color issue. When I am on a white page, much like this one, I can see that the left half of the screen is a darker tinge of red. Why is this, I know it isn't a driver issue and I can't seem to troubleshoot the problem. I have only seen one other poster who claimed they had this issue on another website. Now this color change is hardly noticable when in a video but it is quite bothersome when I am browsing the internet. Anyone know a fix or why this is happening?

Hi XPSBUYER1337

Thanks for writing to us.

Does the issue vanish if the screen is wiggled? When did the problem start?

If possible can you please try an external monitor and observe .

Also do run the LCD test by shutting the system and hold down the letter D and power up the machine. After 3 secs let go the letter D and observe if you see the red tinge.

Do provide us your system tag#, email address and name via private message,by clicking on my name in blue and then select send a private message

Regards

Ok so I have plugged it in to an external monitor and there is no red tinge so then that tells me it isn't a driver issue. I don't want to wiggle my screen because I fear I might break something but I'll try the LCD test for sure! I'll let you know more as I progress...

Sure will wait for your response. Also when we say wiggle, just a little bit of about 40 degrees back and forth.
