Dell XPS 8300 shuts down after startup
Hi, My 2010 XPS 8300 powers up for few seconds then shuts off. I have to remove the power cable from the back for few minutes and plug it back in to start the computer. But it shuts off again when it boots until Windows logo appear. Please advice.

One possibility is that the CMOS battery needs to be replaced.
