system detect will not run on windows xp and The .NET Framework 4.5 and later versions are not supported on Windows XP,
so does this mean I have to install drivers manually for my dell Inspiron 2200 Laptop ?

Yes - and in fact you should not be using XP online at this point, as it is completely insecure, having gone end of support in 2014.

What is it you want to quick check? Any system old enough to be running XP at this point (which ceased shipping with new systems years ago) will be long end of life - and no further updates will have been made. Further, since XP is a completely insecure OS -- even having it online is dangerous at this point. it's basically a sitting duck for attacks.

Hy ejn63 , also after I manually install all the drivers for my Laptop, is there no type of Diagnostic program I can download to do a quick check ?
