XPS 15 9560 4K Flickers
Hi,
I got my XPS 15 9560 4K laptop just two weeks ago and the monitor flickers. It does not happen too many times. However, in several cases, the monitor turned black for 2-3 seconds. I called Dell and the representative suggested me to change the graphic card (motherboard?). I accepted that but now I am not sure that I should do it or not for a laptop that I used for only two weeks. After I talk to her, I found, via this forum, that there are many others who have the same issue. She said that they will send a technician to do it. So my question is that should I do it or not? I am highly skeptic about it. Also is there a return option?
There is also another issue with the keyboard. When I use the keyboard, I hear some squeaky noise. It happens every time that I use it. However, my main concern is the flickering issue.
I love the laptop, but these issues are totally unacceptable for a 2k+ laptop.

Hi smoosavian,
Thanks for posting.
Here is a post which answers your issue: http://dell.to/2uNxYLN
However if that's not an option for you, then you would need to make a decision whether to return your purchase (if you bought it directly from Dell) within the 30 day period.

Hi Dell-Robert R
Thank you for the help.
I have already done all the things that was mentioned in the link. I am inclined to return it. However, I don't know how to do it and I appreciate any help.
By the way, is it possible to get a new one? I love this laptop but I want one without any problem.

sfmoosavian,
To initiate a return, you can follow the instructions in this article: http://dell.to/2tTViKJ
If you feel the system is defective, and depending on which country you are in, you may be able to initiate an exchange. Please contact Customer Care in your country, and explain the situation. They will be glad to assist you.
Regards,
Robert
