Help with installing a driver that requires a OS Pre - Install
i dont know what i need to do to get this driver update to install Serial ATA - Intel Matrix Storage Manager driver v.9.5.0.1037, A03 to install It says (OS Pre - Install Driver Only) i have windows 7 (64 - bit) Service Pack 1 id be very grateful is someone could walk me through this ty vm

The OS preinstall driver is needed for older Windows 7 installation media e.g. Windows 7 No Service Pack to recognise the storage controller and access the HDD during installation. Since you've already got Windows 7 SP1 installed your installation media had the required drivers to recognise your storage controller and hence you don't need to bother with the preinstallation drivers.
