Dell Inspiron 3847 Solid Amber Light

Hello. After I accidentally unplugged my pc, I tried to turn it back on but only got a solid amber light on the power button, nothing comes on the screen and there are no beeps, the PSU light on the back is green so I don't know if it's a PSU problem. The fans run and I can open the CD tray. I already tried unplugging the cord and holding the power button without results. Thanks

Hello!  From what I read here, here, and here, you may have a motherboard or component issue.  What I would do first is unplug everything from the computer including power, hold the power button for 10 seconds, open up the case and remove the coin cell battery.  Wait a minute or two, then put the battery back, close the case and plug everything back in and see if that works.  You could also try re-seating the cables inside the computer by unplugging everything and plugging it back in (with the power disconnected).
