Dell xps 15 No Bootable Device Found

So the main reason why I'm writing this thread is because I'm pretty fed up. I've purchased this $2000 laptop at the beginning of this year because of all the rave reviews. Throughout the first 4 months, i've had to deal with freezing issues where my laptop would freeze after 2-3 hours and I had to force shutdown. It took them 4 months to fix this issue.

Now yesterday when I tried to boot up my laptop, I got this message "No bootable device found" after the Dell logo. I've searched through the forums thinking that I'd find a solution, but none of them worked. I came across a thread in reddit saying that I had to re-add the windows boot manager. That worked, for now.

I don't know what kind of updates you're giving us, but I've ran out of patient for all this ***. Get your *** together Dell.

I'd suggest you run Dell Preboot Diagnostic tool on your computer to check if there is any issue with the hardware on your system. Please follow steps below:

1. Power off computer

2. Power on computer, quickly start tapping F12 key continuously. you should be in the diagnostic screen. After the quick test has completed then I also suggest you run a 'Thorough' test on the hard drive. Please report back any error code.
