Dell XPS 9560 bluetooth is not working

Since yesterday, my bluetooth is not findind. any device. I have openned the bluetooth manager because my mouse and my headphone was not working, I have removed them to try to add them back but now my computer is not finding any devices.

I have tried to pair my headphone with my Iphone and it is working.

I tought that it might me a driver problem, so I have decided to do a full reset of my computer and reinstall windows 10, but I keep have the same problem.

 

I have tried to install de last driver version on :

and on

http://www.killernetworking.com/driver-downloads/category/bluetooth

I have tried to set the default setting in the BIOS

 

I saw a post that they were sayong to drain out the battery but it did not work.

 

Does anyone has a solution?

I had the same problem with my XPS 15 9560 (i7 32Gb RAM 1Tb SSD) and fixed it as follows:

1. Restart the system and press F2 to enter BIOS setup

2. Expand the wireless section

3. Un-check Bluetooth in both branches and hit 'Apply' then

4. Re-check Bluetooth in both branches and hit 'Apply'

5. Exit the BIOS saving the changes and boot into Windows

Hi Saltgrass,

In the bluetooth section it says : Qualcomm Atheros QCA61x4

In the Network adapters it says : Killer Wireless 1535

I have already tried to download the driver from the killer website : www.killernetworking.com/driver-downloads

But it still doesnt work :/

The Bluetooth driver will, in many cases, be included with the Wi-Fi driver.  What Wi-Fi card do you have?

If you aren't sure, open the Device Manager (right click start button and select from menu) and look at the Network Adapters.  The Bluetooth will be up in the Bluetooth section.

I just installed a Killer Wireless 1525 to test and used the Performance Suite I downloaded from the Killer site and Bluetooth seems to work fine.

I have already tried to install

Killer Wireless-AC 1525/1535/1435 Bluetooth Driver  and

Intel 8265 Bluetooth Driver from dell website

The driver I am using on my Bluetooth is 10.0.0.256.  I do not have a Dell supplied driver since this system does not ship with a Killer card.

If you open Settings-Devices-Bluetooth and other, does it show with an Add Devices option and it is switched on?

The airplane mode also turns off Bluetooth.

If in Device Manager, looking a the properties of the Bluetooth device, there is an Events tab.  If you go down the listing do you see any drivers being removed.  You should see Device installed entries and Driver service added entries.

If you can't get it to work you may need to uninstall all drivers and software and start over, but we can talk about that if you want.

If you open Settings-Devices-Bluetooth and other, does it show with an Add Devices option and it is switched on?

I click on Add a device -> Bluetooth (I have the choice between Bluetooth, Wireless display and Everything else) -> I am waiting there and nothing appear...

The airplane mode also turns off Bluetooth. Yes the airplane mode is disabled

In Device Manager in bluetooth I can see Microsoft bluetooth enumerator, Le Enumerator and Qualcomm. I have added a picture of it in my first post. 

I did reinstall my windows 10 (formatting) do you still think that resintalling my driver will make it work?

There is a separate Bluetooth driver on the Dell site for that device, so two drivers would need to be installed from Dell.

I just tried to reinstall the driver with the one on the dell website but It still do not work...

Yes I did choose Bluetooth :/

Maybe it is an hardware issue?

You do not have an Intel Device.  Both the Wi-Fi and Bluetooth are on the Killer card.

The Drivers Dell shows is a higher number than the one I am using.  Possibly it is from a special driver the folks at Killer provided for Dell.

What I downloaded from Killer was

KillerPerformanceSuite_1.3.1350_Win7_Win81_Win10_x64.exe

If the Dell driver is more advanced you may not be able to install an older driver.

When I add a Bluetooth device I do what you do but choose Bluetooth, just in case you are not doing that..  I also make sure the Bluetooth device is ready to Pair.

It worked for me after loosing several hours on Dell site to find appropriate driver...
