Dell Inspiron N5110 Processor Speed issue

My  Dell Inspiron N5010 has Processor Speed  2.50Ghz but these days working on only 0.78 Ghz speed, No more than this. Why ? its too slow? How to speed it up? because it was not as slow as working these days.

Correction:

Its Dell N5110 with processor speed of 2.30 GHZ

Your screenshot shows the CPU running at 2.0 GHz - which is just fine.  If the system seems slow, particularly if the hard drive has never been replaced, run the extended diagnostic on it -- it may be the cause of the slowness.  That screenshot does not implicate the CPU.

Does the system recognize the AC adapter, or does it show "unknown" in Setup (F2 at powerup to check)?

@ejn63 when I plunged in Charger then it was showing  AC adapter type =130W but when it was unplugged then Non in Setup(F2).  But honestly I can't understand what it could effect on processor ?(AC Adapter)

I asked because the system won't run on full speed if the adapter isn't properly sensed.

Next step -- thoroughly clean out the system of all dust, and replace the thermal pads that sit between the  heatsink and CPU/GPU.  This requires a lot of disassembly -- and may be best left to a computer shop to do.

I did it almost two months ago myself and applied thermal paste but then it was not as slow. Should it repeat?  Can you suggest is there any specific thermal paste or locally which I found easily.  One more thing I noticed somehow its performs results better like as.

I don't see anything abnormal there -- the CPU is running at 2.0 GHz, not slower.  Have you run a full diagnostic on the system (a failing hard drive on a system of this age isn't unexpected and could slow the system down appreciably)?  F12 at powerup.
