Dell PowerEdge R620 continuously blue screens
Hello,
We have a Dell Poweredge R620 that started blue screening recently. When the server blue screens, one of the hard drives blinks amber until the server is rebooted, then it comes right back online without issues. We performed the standard troubleshooting steps, updated drivers, performed sfc /scannow, chkdsk /r, memory diagnostics. None of which resolved the problem.
Today, we ran the diagnostics utility from the boot menu and received the following error code and validation. The only component that that failed the diagnostics was the system management. The hard drives, raid controller, memory, processors..etc, all passed.
Error Code: 2000-0251
Validation: 80588
The operating system is Windows Server 2008 R2, it is running BIOS version 2.5.4 which is the most recent available from Dell, the controller is a PERC H710 Mini and it's embedded, the hard drives are Dell 146GB, 15k, 6 Gbps, RAID 0.
If anyone knows what this means and how to fix it, please let me know.

The BIOS has already been updated to the latest version, 2.5.4. I cleared the logs and will run Diagnostics again. Could failures in the BIOS cause a drive to go offline and a BSOD to occur?
I keep seeing the below errors and similar one, repeatedly, just before the blue screen occurs and during reboot:
Controller event log: PD 00(e0x20/s0) Path 5000c500717396f1 reset (Type 03): Controller 0 (PERC H710 Mini)
Unexpected sense: Encl PD 20 Path 5d81f060eb217500, CDB: 1c 01 a0 00 04 00, Sense: 5/24/00: Controller 0 (PERC H710 Mini)Controller event log: State change on PD 00(e0x20/s0) from UNCONFIGURED_GOOD(0) to ONLINE(18): Controller 0 (PERC H710 Mini)
Controller event log: PD missing: SasAddr=0x5000c500717396f1, ArrayRef=0, RowIndex=0x0, EnclPd=0x20, Slot=0. : Controller 0 (PERC H710 Mini)
There are many other similar informational messages with the same Event ID: 2334
The controller seems to be constantly resetting. Any ideas?

Hello.
The Error Code: 2000-0251 indicates some failures within the BIOS. What you can do is to review the system event logs (SEL) for detailed information, clear the logs and apply BIOS up date to current. Run the diagnostic utility again and monitor the error.

Not necessarily. Begin by applying the controller firmware update. This may correct random change in state of the Physical Disk. Also ascertain the status of the Virtual Disk and associated Physical Disks

The controller firmware has already been updated. There is a pattern developing with these blue screens and I'm at a loss to find a solution. The blue screens only occur from Friday through Sunday. It hasn't happened since Monday morning at 1:30 AM. I've scoured the scheduled tasks, backup jobs..etc but cannot find something that specifically begins Friday at Midnight. Are there separate settings in Dell Openmanage that would run a consistency check or something?

There has to be an event within some scheduled task triggering BSOD. Yes, consistency checks to correct and update inavliddata in the RAID array can be done in OMSA.
