Dual Band Wireless AC 3165 Adapter

Hi All,

I continue to loss my internet connection on 1 of my 3 computers and I receive the same error message after troubleshooting the network diagnosis.. "The Intel (R) Dual Band Wireless-AC 3165 adapter is experiencing    Not fixed driver- or hardware-related problems"

What I have done in the past was restart my computer roughly 5 times and it would end up working on one of the 5 times or try downloading the most up-to-date Network Driver from the Dell website. Lately that downloaded file has failed me and I decided to go to the Forums for help.

Any help is appreciated. I have the Dell Inspiron 5000 series 2 in 1 laptop.

Hi,

Welcome to our community.

We'll certainly try and assist you. Let us know if you see any redx or an exclamation mark on the wireless icon?

Secondly, right click on the wireless icon and click troubleshoot problems. Share the results.

Hello,

I have a similar issue to what this person had...

https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_10-networking-winpc/recently-windows-updated-and-now-intelr-dual-band/37c589bb-af2b-48a9-b89b-2865770cf176

as I recently had a Windows 10 update performed on my laptop.

I have a red x where the wireless icon should be.  Also when I run the troubleshooter, the report gives the following error..."the intel(r) dual band wireless-ac 3165 adapter is experiencing driver or hardware related problems".

Can someone please help me?  Thanks!
