XPS 8910 Nvidia Video Card Disable
I would like to stop using the Nvidia card and use the built-in Intel graphics instead. In older computers, simply plugging the monitor into the computer's video port (not the Nvidia card's) made this change. In the 8910, plugging into the computer's port does nothing - the monitor remains shut off. Do I have to remove the Nvidia card in order to switch to Intel graphics or will simply disabling the Nvidia card do it?

Boot into BIOS and see if integrated graphics is enabled.
In windows, go to device manager and under display adapters, make sure Intel HD graphics is listed, and make sure the device is enabled. It is listed under the driver TAB.
Then go to the nVidia device and disable it.
Curious why you want to use the intel graphics?

I do not see that Video option in the BIOS pictures on the Training page. Nor do I see the multi-GPU option (both added and onboard GPU). I would uninstall the Nvidia drivers, then power off, open the case, remove the Nvidia video card, close it up, connect the monitor to the onboard GPU DP or HDMI port, turn the monitor on, then the XPS 8910.
