Dell Active Pen button not working consistently...

My Dell Active Pen's (Dell P/N 750-AAMI) button doesn't respond to the tablet on a consistent basis. If you press it for 0.3 secs. it's supposed to bring up the sketch mode and double-pressing it brings up the Windows Ink feature but the only way I can seem to get this to work is by unpairing the pen and then reconnecting it to the tablet's Bluetooth. If I sleep the tablet and reawaken it, the pen button is unresponsive again.
I'm not that into these features anyway but I'd like what I buy to work. Any suggestions?

Have you tried by calibrating the touch?

Have tried by updating the BIOS, chipset and LCD firmware from our Dell Support site?

I don't think you read my post. I was having trouble with the button on top, not the interface of the Active Pen. The Active Pen interface was actually sufficient.

I don't think there any other compatible tablets except the Dell Venue 8 Pro 5855

How do you get a Service Tag off an Active Pen? I had a similar problem with the old Dell Active Stylus in the past.

I have exactly the same issue with a PN557w and a Latitude 5285. All drivers have been updated but no improvement. The pen works only right after pairing.

I have the same problem with a PN557W and a new Latitude 7285.   Really terrible validation.   Please fix your software.

I have a Dell Latitude 5285.  I purchased the Dell Active Pen PN557W and also the top button of the pen does not work (Everything else does work).  I am using Win-10 64-bit.  Is there any solution to this issue?  Thanks.
