Latitude 12 slim keyboard (for 7275) touchpad doesn't work
The touchpad on the keyboard does not work - and the keyboard itself intermittently doesn't work. I have an external mouse and keyboard attached. Have disconnected them, updated the driver, updated bios, uninstalled and reinstalled driver, everything I have found in other posts and it still will not work. When I updated the bios, Touchpad now shows up in devices, but the driver is for PS/2 Compatible Mouse. Running Windows 10 Pro. Any help? Thanks in advance!

I have the 7275 docked to the slim keyboard, but I also have a Dell USB-C WD15 monitor dock attached so I can have an external monitor, keyboard, and mouse. When I try to use just the 7275 docked to the slim keyboard, the touchpad is not working.

You lost me. You say that the 7275 is docked to the Slim Keyboard. But then you say, "I have an external mouse and keyboard attached.". So is that two keyboards and one mouse? Or just the single Slim Keyboard and the USB mouse is attached to it?

Ok. Let's start over.
* Turn the 7275 off
* Disconnect all/every peripherals from the 7275
* Turn the 7275 on
* Once into the operating system, turn the 7275 off
* Connect only the slim keyboard to the 7275
* Turn the 7275 on and test the slim keyboard

Thanks Chris. I just did as asked and the touchpad is still not working. Everything else on the keyboard works. Any other suggestions?

At the point of purchase, you could select None, 1-Year, or 2-Year warranty.
If you purchased the 1-Year or 2-Year warranty, contact Dell Technical Support. Give them the order number for the Slim Keyboard, Manufacturer Part 51M9F, Dell Part 583-BDFZ. Ask them to setup an exchange.
