Dell Inspirion 7359-Cracked screen

I won my 7359 at a company party a year ago. We rarely use it and one day in late December there was a slight crack in the screen. Everything worked fine and a few days later the crack had spread and is now you cant see anything on the screen. I took it to the Geek Squad at Best Buy, they sent it out for repairs, it will cost $379 to replace the screen AND Dell doesn't have any replacement screens in stock and they don't know if or when they will.

Now what?

aarbleda,

Unfortunately, you will need to wait until Dell gets them in stock. You could also search the internet for a compatible screen.

Unfortunately, you're finding out that most $500 systems aren't worth repairing when a major failure or accident occurs.  These systems sell for about that brand-new -- that repair is more than 70% of the cost to replace the system (which is probably why it's not easy to come by replacement parts -- most people would replace the system when the cost to repair exceeds 50% of the cost to replace the system.
